Tuition Fees

Tuition & Fees Policy

1. Tuition Fee
The following are covered in the full tuition fee:

• Tuition

• Co-curricular activities

• All instructional activities, including English support (EAL)

• Residential/educational trips

• Textbooks, books and learning materials

• Examination fees

• University counseling

• Meals: breakfast, lunch and snacks

• Capital fee

• Annual health check

2. Application Fee
An Application Fee of 2,000,000 VND is payable upon submission of Application Form to the school. This Application Fee is refundable in the event that the student been accepted to TH School and in such a case, the amount of 2,000,000 VND is deductible from the first Tuition Fee settlement.

3. Security Deposit (Refundable)
When a child joins TH School, a Security Deposit of 10% of the full year tuition is required. This deposit will be refunded when the child leaves the school provided 60 calendar days’ notice is given in writing to the school.

 

4. Payment of Fees
Parents are liable for paying the tuition fees before the student enrolls. This responsibility belongs to the parents and cannot be authorized to another company or individual. TH School will issue an invoice in VNĐ. All tuition fees must be paid in VNĐ, except in cases where the tuition fee is paid from overseas. In this case, the fee will be calculated according to the current exchange rate announced by Vietcombank at the time of payment.

Parents can pay tuition fees in cash, via ATM/credit card, or wire transfer according to the following information:

5. Payment Options
Tuition Fees are payable in advance. At the start of the school year, parents can choose one of two payment plans:

[a] Annual Tuition Fee
The Annual Tuition Fee, when paid in full, is discounted by 10% discount compared to the Termly Tuition payment. To secure this discount, the Annual Tuition Fee must be paid in full before 30th July.

[b] Termly Tuition Fees
Term Tuition Fees are paid each term before specified date:

• Term 1: 30th July

• Term 2: 10th December

• Term 3: 15th March

 

6. Late Payment Policy
All fees must be paid in advance. Students will not be allowed to attend classes until the school receives full payment. For outstanding/overdue invoices, a fee of 2% per month will be charged. If the fees are not paid on time, the school may allocate the vacant place to another student.

 

7. Non-Payment
In the event of non-payment of tuition fees beyond 30 days of the third notice of Reminder of Payment being sent out, the school reserves the right to refuse to accept a student into the school and may withhold the Security Deposit.

 

8. Family Discount
Families with more than one child at TH school are eligible for a family discount. The second child enrolled will receive a 5% family discount on tuition fees. The third child enrolled in the school will receive a 10% discount.

9. Late Enrollment
Late applications and enrollments are possible if there is space available. Late enrollment fees are processed on a prorated basis:

 

10. Short-Term Absence
The school will not offer discounts or fee waivers for short term absences of less than 30 days from school. Written approval from the divisional principal is required for all cases of short-term student absence.

11. Long-Term Absence
In the event that any student must be absent from school for more than 30 days due to a serious health issue and wishes to reserve his/her place at school upon return to continue his or her given tuition incentive (if any), parents must submit a Request for Reservation in writing. The school reserves the right to approve or reject the request based on availability of vacancies.

12. Withdrawal & Tuition Fee Refund
Parents must inform the school in writing at least 60 calendar days prior to the child’s withdrawal date. Tuition Refund is only available in the event of the Annual Tuition Fee having been fully paid and the appropriate notice having been given. In such cases the school will refund a prorated portion of the paid Annual Tuition Fee based on the withdrawal date.

Provided appropriate notice was given, the following reimbursement procedures apply:

• Term 1: 50%

• Term 2: 30%

• Term 3: no reimbursement will be given
