Service Learning
Learning how to better serve others and experiencing philanthropy in action
Our Philosophy of Service Learning

The importance of participating in community service is widely recognised as an effective way for students to learn first-hand the value of community and philanthropy. Community service activities that are meaningful and effective not only have a positive impact on the people and environment around us but also instill in our students core values of passion, gratitude and humanity.
Through service learning opportunities (SLPs), TH School students develop a deeper understanding of pressing social and environmental challenges and generate creative responses to solving these problems and implementing solutions, providing them with valuable opportunities to reflect and learn from these experiences. Through service learning, our students also learn how to better serve others and share and experience philanthropy in action.
At TH School, we encourage participation in service learning on any scale, small or large, ranging from personal volunteering through non-profit organizations such as Operation Smile, Habitat for Humanity, or Heartbeat Vietnam, to coordinated service projects, give-back drives, gratitude operations, and environmental campaigns.
